Stokesley Toilet Design
As you may be aware the Stokesley office is having a re-design of the toilets and the ‘Toilet Team’ (myself, Eamon and Tom) have accepted the challenge to produce a fantastic design. Therefore, if you have any suggestions, improvements or anything which you think we must include ie. a fold down bed…..then let us know!

A small stuffed gazelle as a toilet roll holder could be an interesting talking point, and therapeutic from a pet therapy perspective.(gazella ruficolis could be suitable)
Can I suggest a coved skirting, as the existing skirting get gets scuffed quickly and the sealing detail between the skirting and the vinyl is poor. Can I also suggest a robust toilet seat fixing detail.
Please could you consider an improvement to the lighting and wall covering to the ladies toilet. Also on the very rare occassion of using the disabled toilet the light takes too long to come on, if you were a disabled person using this toilet I think you would find this a problem. Also may I suggest a self closing seat/lid to the toilet in the disabled toilet. I think the ladies toilet also needs some kind of storage area.
How about knocking the disabled wc into the male wc so that we could have one large disable wc with shower and 1 ambulant WC?
If thats too much building work how about nice ceramic or slate tiles on the floor rather than vinyl? (although perhaps in keeping with the animal theme we could have grass look-a-like vinyl for grazing)
Let’s push the boat out…striking, well-designed, comfortable, stylish, spacious and animal-friendly.
